Wicked math

In an MSNBC article today, Iraq criticises the UN Security Council, saying that it's predominated by the US. This in light of a newly passed UN resolution putting new limits on purchases of communication equipment and antibiotics which, according to the US, can be used by the Iraqi military in a war.

Further confusion arises when George W. Bush puts two and two together, and ends up with five, when he earlier this week offered economic justification for a pre-emptive strike, as well as equated Iraq with, supposedly, Al Qaeda;

An attack from Saddam Hussein or a surrogate of Saddam Hussein would cripple our economy [...] This economy cannot afford to stand an attack. MSNBC

Essentially, he's using the poor economy, which many claim to be a direct result of Bush's warmongering, as a reason to go to war, he unsubstantially links Iraq to Al Qaeda, while shrugging at North Korea's admitted nuclear arsenal.

But then again, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il didn't try to "kill his daddy".
