Merry Christmas
Dec 23, 2003
I'm sure many have noticed what Darice noticed; that activity around these woods is sparse. I'm not quitting blogging though, no way, I really couldn't. Blogging, or weblogging, as I prefer to call it, is kind of my creative and opinional outlet.
About a month ago, I realized something I kind of already knew, that I should be focusing on topics relating to society and democracy. I find the discussions on my weblog very interesting to me, personally. I appreciate every single comment that you guys post here. In fact, most of the time the discussions on an entry are far more interesting than the entry itself, case in point: the entry entitled "Irony" which turned into a discussion regarding the importance and scope of rights and laws.
Here's a few topics I'm meaning to post about in the near future:
- The future Swedish implementation of the EU-wide(?) ban on downloading pirated files, which will probably pass this spring.
- Feminism: what it's supposed to be about, what it has turned into in Sweden, and how Swedish gender equality compares to other countries.
- Rights: some think they're for everybody, others think they're for the good guys.
As I'm pretty sure I'll stay very far away from computers all day tomorrow, I hereby wish every one of my readers a -- capital M, capital C -- Merry Christmas (and, what the heck, I'll throw in a Happy New Year, while I'm at it). I'm not just saying that because I have to, either.

Merry Christmas (a little late perhaps) to you as well. I just recently discovered your weblog, but I'm looking forward to readíng more of your thoughts in the coming year.
