Crossroad

  Jul 29, 2004

As some of you might know, or guessed, I've decided to switch to Mac. That means that I will primarily use a Mac, it doesn't mean that I will never again touch a Windows PC; while that's a promise I'd like to make, it's not one I'll likely be able to keep...

Hierarchy

  Jul 19, 2004

For some time now, something has been bothering me about the common way of marking up a document structure, especially the way Hn-tags are being used as titles, as opposed to document headings...

Parties

  Jul 18, 2004

The God of CSS, Eric Meyer, has an interesting post about the Democrats and the Republicans; how they're not particularly true to themselves, and how the permeating hypocrisy and double standards reduce what could be worthwhile political debates to squabble.

Business blogging

  Jul 16, 2004

Today was a particularly weird and wonderful day. I went down to Stockholm to visit two former colleagues of mine, they're two guys in their thirties who run a business, "producing and refining" websites, and they do so, if you can believe it, using web standards...

Policies are neat that way.

Unsatisfied

  Jul 08, 2004

Today, Anna Lindh's murderer, Mijailo Mijailovic, was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care, by the Swedish court of appeal. Ironically, the very reason that Anna Lindh was killed by this supposedly crazy person to begin with is, according to the defence, because of shortcomings in the Swedish system of psychiatric care.

Inexhaustible

  Jul 02, 2004

I'm in the fortunate position of having a really nice broadband connection to my apartment. By "really nice" I mean that it's a fantastic ISP with amazing uptime, competent and friendly support, and, last but not least, one which supplies me with a 10Mbit/s Full Duplex Ethernet connection. Either they're the best broadband provider in the world, or it just seems that way.
